Question Daydreams

Do daydreams count as dreams? What if you daydream most of your day? Well I do. I have this job at a family company and it gets busy then slow busy then slow and so on. So I spend alot of my time daydreaming. But daydreaming of a better life then here in Michigan. I have been with the same person for almost 9years and have children but feel like things are just not working anymore. And my d.dreams are starting to be of me happy with someone else living in a completely different state. And I am starting to try less and less at this relationship because of it. It is like they are so real that at that moment i am happy. What do I do about this? Anything anyone can help with would be great. Thanks

There is an important difference between diurnal (day) and noctural (night) dreaming. Diurnal dreaming occurs when one is consciously awake while nocturnal dreaming occurs in sleep. Diurnal dreaming is wishful thinking which we all do and escapism is probably its main feature. Nocturnal dreaming arises from the subconscious and is normally beyond the control of one's consciousness.

Those persons who feel trapped in misery or who feel they have lost control over their lives find sanity and escapism in day dreaming. For most of us most of the the time our thoughts are either in the past or in the future but seldom, indeed, are we aware of the present; almost immediately we become aware of the present our consciousness drifts away from it. Those who constantly day-dream as a form of escapism tend to regard their cups as being half-empty but those who focus on other features tend to regard their cups as being half-full.

There are few in life who do not suffer in some way; in the biblical sense it is the cross that we each have to bear. Most of the suffering stems from the society in which we live which is unnatural to nature. Suffering is something that cannot be shared so it is a lonely feature and the day-dreaming is the escape valve.

After losing my first wife to BC I subsequently remarried and my wife of today in her first marriage had to escape from the family home due to a drunken womaniser and wife-batterer of a husband. On doing so she was destitute and had to leave her four children behind until she could secure accommodation. She never did get them back. This hurt still remains with her although her children, today, are themselves adults with a clutch of grand children between them. Only two of her children are in contact with her while the other two remain angry at her rejecting them. This anecdotal tale might help you to understand that if you do attempt to break away from your present predicament, be certain that you have all the necessary plans in place otherwise you may place yourself (as my wife did) in a appalling and unresolving situation. Shortly after we met she awoke one morning exclaiming, "For the first time in my life I feel normal"! It made me wonder how she knew she was normal? I am glad to report that the past 8 years that we have been together have been the happiest of her life but, we both continue to have problems some of which are unsurmountable, however, we are happy in each other's company, we care deeply about each other, and we each bring joy to the other. All that I can say is that you have my commisserations and my best wishes.

Hi,
Dreams at day times have the same interpretations as night sleep. But also they are more powerful in the meanings.Dreams only in the sunset time have no interpretations.
But if you are dreaming of a better life or better to say you imagine a better life in the day time you should know that everywhere you go the sky will be the same .Christianity doesn't mean not to have a trial. You can have a travel or everytime you felt tired of life, or simply sleep for an hour, else you will deteriorate the childrens life.
Good luck.

People are asleep, when die they will wake up.
42. God takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
