Recently moved nightmare

Recently I moved to my grandparent's house, escaping the troubles at home. I have grown to like this place and people. I especially enjoy my grandparent's home home. Though it to be haunted, the spirits haven't bothered me too much, other than making the dog bark. Which hasn't stressed me at all. At home my sisters recently had 2 babies, and my house at home had become too much to bare. I had a dream last night that my mother had me come back home on a plane. I became stressed of when at home, and wanted nothing but to return to my grandparents. I finally convinced my mother that I could drive back with my car. I loved the idea of bringing my vehicle here. But before I set out on my trip a cop had barged into my house. I didn't want this cop in my house and he began to make his way up the stairs. I told him to stop and he turned and look at me and still set forward up the stairs. I went after him and when I got to the cop I grabbed and threw him to the bottom of the stairs. As I looked down and seen the lifeless body of the cop with a blank stare up at me, I realised that I had killed him. I became terrified that I would be going to prison for murder and that I will not return back to the place I wanted to be. I then woke up in my bed in the confort of my grandparents house. What the heck does this dream mean???
