Urgent!! I Need Help!!! Rape And Fire

Hey all. I had a dream I was in my grandma's old apartment (where we all grew up) and the people I lived with represented my family but seems I also lived with my boyfriend. There was a serial rapist everyone was looking for and seems as though he was a family friend. The woman in the dream portraying my mom and I were in the house but I was on the deck and he approaches and rapes her not realizng I'm still in the house and sets the house on fire. The house doesn't burn completely down but is visibly burned. I, along with my boyfriend go looking for him and find him. I try to beat the he'll out of him and the dream goes back to the house where all of the family is sitting around consoling the woman. Looking at the apartment, one side of the apartment is burned. The other is not AND I DIDN'T SEE HER GET RAPED. Just know that this is what happened. Although I was there and I immediately called my boyfriend.

Any clues??? (I also saw a murder mystery before going to bed but that doesn't normally effect my dreams)

From what I've read, a dream about rape usually involves some sort of violation either in your life or someone close to you. The fire signifies trying to burn the memory, get rid of it and move on. This is just from things I have read and learned over the years.

That was insightful and makes sense on both parts. I was terrified in the dream for the woman and I know I was concerned because of the house being burned only on the one side and seems like everyone just adjusted and lived on the other side but it troubled me to know the meaning when I woke up. It is funny because I know alot of people that tell me if they dream they do not remember the dream but for me my dreams are like stories unfolding.

RAPED : humuiliated and hurt

well dreams can capture a particular mood or frame of mind relevant to the day before. Its best to see if a dream simply captures youtr immediate worries and feelings on some major/minor matters.

This dream seems to be pivotal on thje phrase "I didn't see her get raped but knew that was going to happen"

To me that relates to the following type fo human emotions "I haven't seen any signs of pain or humilaition but she/I just know that deep down that that guy is humiliating her or hurting her. Thats what guys do "

Maybe the dream is about such resentments klying deep. Some lack of trust in men.
