Default Great Peace. Blinding light.

I'm a girl.
Age: 22
Date of birth: 8/15/84
Location: California
This dream actully happened about a week ago.

In the dream I'm in a city where people hangout on the roofs of buildings. What I can still remember of the dream was knowing someone was waiting for me up on top of one. I climbed the stair passing a young woman in a light yellowish white dress as I come to the top. What I see is a restraunt. As soon as I step towards it though the restraunt disappears and is replaced by a smaller space with laundry hanging on a wire to one end and a man standing nearby looking to the city below. He smiles at me and I tell him I will spend my life loving and living with him and when my time comes to leave him for him not to be sad because I will be going home. He had seemed bothered by my departing/dying as if I will be dying soon. I tell him with an overwhelming feeling of peace and a smile on my face that I will be fine and when its his time I will see him again. I continue to tell him I will be happy and with my family. I then find my self ready to catch a train where my family is waiting. My great grandma is there and she is waiting for me. I leave feeling lots of peace from within.

I soon am woken up by my grandma. She tells me as I'm waking up that she can't see my face and that all she sees is a blinding light around me. I look at her worried that the sun is in her eyes, even though my blinds are closed shut (I'm still waking up. So I'm still unaware of my surroundings...)and I start to get up. She says that as I was moving forward the light stayed behind and disappeared. I felt no fear or anything because I still felt at peace from the dream.

Not to get anything misunderstood... my great grandma from the dream died last year. her daughter, my grandma, was the one who woke me up. Plus it isn't the first time my grandma has seen a bright light from my room. Both her and my mom many months before this dream they both told me that someone came out of my room well I was sleeping. My mom heard my door open and close and my grandma saw the light figure coming out. I was still asleep when they came to my room to ask if I came out of my room. I was the only person in there and they were the only other people home. Kinda weird really but it doesn't bother me much. All I know is I can't see it...heh. But most likely theres something there. My grandma would never lie or misunderstand something like that. That much I know.

Many dreams symbolise our real life feelings and moods. They capture the mood that we perhaps woke up in. These dreams with a distinct sense of mood in them do tend to link to immediate moods. they may also show that you needed that real sense of calm and understanding.

------------------------
Dreams are fascinating but maybe its best not to delve too deeply into their meanings and seek advice. Try not to rely on them as dreams are notoriously difficult to interpret. Yet they do tend to concentrate on recent events and new feelings. You should be able to spot the formation of your own conceptual emotions(with some practice).Deeply hidden inside a dream is some conception perhaps to the previous day. Some slight change in your own thoughts (so concentrate on those changes and see if they maybe featured in the dream).

The main fascination of dreams is how they link to the storage and formation of conceptual feelings. Conceptual feelings must be stored in the brain and perhaps the dreams that we have show how we store such ideas. Instead of using the word STRUGGLE the dream mind instead uses a situation involving a struggle. Instead of using the phrase "closer and closer" the dream mind instead uses the symbol of golf where the object is to get closer and closer to some eventual aim (to pot the ball).

Instead of trying to interpret your dreams just go to your own conceptual feelings and then see what recent thoughts could feature in your reams. Say some argument or situation from the day before. Maybe your dream could link to some task or issue about to be faced on the actual day of the dream?

A known roof means receiving some dignity.
An unknown roof means a man for girls, for men means a girl.
Dreaming of a deceased grandmom means good may be something forgotten will revive.
Good luck.
