I wonder if these kind of dreams mean anything.

I dreamt I was a contestant on top chef and I had to plate my dish which was French Toast and eggs.

The first time I was disqualified because I didn't plate my dish in time because I couldn't find the one I wanted to use [I wanted a long blue plate, and all I could find were white ones.] so I had to go to this guy who would make the plate for me, and once I got back my food was cold and I had run out of time.

The second time, I got to plate my food, but I didn't know how to decorate my plate and there wasn't enough food on my plate, so I asked the main Judge if there was any bacon, and pointed to an Oscar Mayer jumping thing [you know, the jumpers at kids parties?] and I went inside and there was a cooler with a bunch of meats and I looked for the bacon, but then I woke up before I could figure out how long I had to cook it and how much time I had left..

If you could help out in anyway, I would be extremely grateful.

also, if you dream about certain things such as a TV show or a Broadway musical [I've been dreaming about Spring Awakening alot] what does it mean?

The dream could be about frustration. You want to succeed in something, but shoot yourself in the foot. Looking for a blue plate, can't find the bacon, other things that conspire to running out of time.... look for things in your life right now that are frustrating you and need concrete action plans, not running around in a panic. Take your time!
