strawberry/avocado

at the end of my dream last night (I can't remember the rest) I was in an old-ish gym/multipurpose room that resembles the one at the elementary school I attended, and at least a dozen or so high school classmates and friends of mine were in there with me, along with a few adults. At some point I had picked up a strawberry that was about as big as my hand and when I took a bite out of it I discovered that the inside was avocado. It was still hollow like a normal strawberry, but the inside was a thick layer of bright green avocado "meat" (for lack of a better word). I held it up to show everyone and I said something like "look, guys, it's avocado!" and to my surprise everyone said "eww" and was grossed out or weirded out by it; that sort of puzzled me and I remember thinking something like "what's wrong with strawberry and avocado?" only a boy who was next to me thought it was cool, I can't remember who the boy was. anyway, so after I first show it to people I pull up the front of the strawberry (kind of like how you'd turn a page in a spiral pad I guess) to give everyone a fuller look and as soon as the inside of the strawberry was completely visible the avocado was mere scrapings and not thick and smooth like before (except for the 1st bite I hadn't eaten any of it). I was a little puzzled by that. and that's all I remember.


any contributions here? all I know is that strawberries and avocados symbolize sexuality of some sort. and if it helps to put my age in context I pretty much just graduated from high school. any input is appreciated. thank you!

Perhaps you should ask: "what did this dream do for me?" Dreams have a definite function and their meaning is tied up with what they're trying to do.
In your sleep you were probably subconsciously dreaming about eating a strawberry, so you were peckish in sleep and that means that it was getting near morning. The dream turned strange to get your brain working! When you see avocado inside the strawberry your brain automaticly thinks: "this is not right" and takes over from the subconscious. It is the mechanics of waking up!
