I had this dream about my boyfriend and I. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years and we have a son together. Last night I dreamed that we were broken up and I went to pick up my son and I got there and he kept trying to hold my hand and act like we were a couple still I kept avoiding any attempts to reciprocate this back to him. Anyway it's really bugging me and I have no idea what this means.

How you describe your dream is a little confusing but nonetheless it seems to indicate a slight difference of opinion you may have had with him in which you felt angry towards him. This feeling caused you to dream of the consequncs of this slight alienation in your feelings towards him, almost like a cautionary tale. It represents your underlying fear of losing his affection and companionship.
