stone giants

Sometimes i dream of this kind of dream and i dreamed it yesterday again. It's like i am allway on sea in a little boat rowing perhaps and sometimes i go to cave or sometimes i go to the rocks and there are rock like, stone like giants very big but they are good natured toward me, but i also feel great respect for them, little bit frightend but in respectable way. When i dreamed yesterday i was also in a boat and they were part of great walls, like stronghold on the sea, but they are like humans, giants of stone but they are good natured toward me. Anybody got a clue?

Ocean or sea means the governement or a big boss, being on a boat means working for the government.
Stone giants are symbols for proud selfish people or prous politicians or proud managers who work with you or you work for them.

the "sea" often can be a symbol of the unconscious as a whole. The "little boat" with which you are sailing on the "sea" could represent your personal Ego.

A "gaint" often is something very big, but also slow and a bit unhandy. I think the "stone giants" could represent large affects and instinctual energies whcih are present in the unconscious. In your case, they are out of "stone", i.e. connected with the Earth, and not very movable. They could represent larger forces in the unconscious, natural patterns of life perhaps.

I think that in this dream you simply may become aware of larger forces in the unconscious.

"part of great walls, like stronghold on the sea" - they sound like the MOAI of Easter Island to me. They stand in rows, often on hills or cliffs overlooking the ocean. They are said be represent either Gods or Ancestors. They are there to watch over and protect the islanders. Or, maybe, to warn them of impending danger. Guardian Spirits, if you like.
