Watching The Incredible Hulk

During this dream last night I played the role of an observer. The Incredible Hulk is a character who changes into a green monster when enraged or panicked. Anyways, I was watching a bus travel on a road. Gunmen had taken the people on the bus hostage. However, they came to a river where the bridge had washed out. The bus driver slammed on the brakes which made the bus overturn and skid. It landed beneath a giant boulder and it was ready to fall on the bus crushing it, but at the same time it was going to fall into the river. Before the rock landed the Hulk came out and smashed the boulder with his fists and pulled the bus to safety. Then I woke up.

The travelling bus represents your life and those connected to you as you normally are and getting on with business as was intended. Someone in the position of power hijacked this comfortable scene which reflects your own feelings. Their plan was inconclusive. You reacted which exacerbated matters placing you in the catch22 position. Someone, with possibly more power or status, came to your rescue.

well the jolly green giant is kind of a super hero. In this case he saevs the bus. Perhaps that shows that in some way the temper and anger that takes over him is a good thing. Maybe you have been thinking over a situation where you or someone else lost their temper and this was actually goodoverall

it was a positive feature whereas anger is normally a bad thing

Its an interesting interpretation. I think that the dream did roughly occur beofre the event making it a possible premonition?

I often wonder about world events and news items. Are these events trukly important ebnough for us to think about. The bridsge disaster is perhaps a case of a news event that maydrift into our subconscious. Its more notabale because its so strange and unusal. Bridges collapsing are not something that we expect. Dreams are usually about plane crashes or volcanoes or earthquakes. We do not expect the road beneath us to simply buckle.

Of world wide disasters I would only class two or three as truly important enouighb for us to dream about.

1. 9-11
2. the day man walked on the moon
3. the death of princess diana(especially in my country the UK)

I would even leave out numerous earthquakes and even the tsunami in the far east a few years ago.

I know it sounds callous but these things are actually not that important. Whta may seem important one day is soon forgotten. Can you rtemember the place where the last major earthquake took place. News is almost like any other program. We watch it and it affects us a little but its soon forgotten.
