Then you and your mate have some issuse to work out. Marrige changes a relationship even if you have been living together before you tie the knot. The person in the van is your mate. You feel that your mate is a stranger because you dont understand him and vise verse and you can overcome this if you work communicating,love conquers all and he does love you. Your mate is not incontrol of his life as much as he would like to be. (Forced into a black van and that it was black and he was not driving it.) He has multiple freinds that he trusts, yet not everyone is on his side.(The kidnappers) Are you on his side enuoph to marry him and complete each other? Your other half is on this earth, do you think he may be the one? This is a question only you can answer, think on this because life waits for knowbody and you have children that need a father too. The circle of people in your life don't take you as serious as well, but that is only a minor distraction if your persistant enouph you will get your point across that you will not be taken lightly. The bible says in proverbs; If a man finds a wife he finds a good thing. I think He has found a good thing if you feel the same about him, then get rid of all other love or romantic intrests that may hinder it. The people outside of the two of you may pull you in another direction. The ring does signal that theres is a strong bond, he gave it to you for a reason to send a messege. i think maybe your friend is being made (kidnapped) to feel or act by others (kidnappers) difrently towards you than he would like to, hence throwing his ring out for you to reconize maybe shows he would like you to reconize he accecpts you as part of their circle and the friend you share more likely symbolising your partner rescuing him from the kidnappers may show that your partner is grateful of his acceptance of you even though the others are against it.
as long as you and your partner have a strong bond which you seem to have you will be fine and i suspect his friends will grow to accecpt you if they see this

WOW!!
that now i think about it really makes alot of sence it seems bang on what is happening at the moment with my partner and his friends there is one who said i guess shes famley now but i still cant meet her maybe your right there
