scorpion in dream?

LAst night I dreamt of a scorpion. I saw it in my NYC apt. That was odd. I lived in AZ For years and here was a damn scorpion followed me all the way from AZ. I hate those things, they really send chills down my back. It just stood there, menacing in its rigidity. That was it. NO movement, no sting, just that tail in that "ready to stroke" position.

Could it mean anything? Anyone have any thoughts?
