Dream that came true, bad news

Some might think I'm a freak, hell, I wonder sometimes why I dream what I dream. two nights ago, after briefly thinking about a friend whom I haven't called in 2 months who now lives in FL, I dreamt about someone's back. A large beetle got up from the back, turned around and sat down again. No one had seen it and I immediately noticed and said out loud," Cancer!" I was to remember this once I awoke, I remember telling myself this, then I awoke.

I told my brother to inspect his back, told my boyfriend to do so as well...

Today, I got an email from a mutual friend of my FL friend. She says she has some really bad news about her. I already know what it is. Call me crazy, but I know she has a cancerous mole on her back. I will know for certain once she emails me. But, I just already know.

If it's true, or not, I will post again and let everyone know how freaky I am, or am not. Hopefully not, in this case anyway.

It turns out. My friend took her own life a month ago. I was notified on 7/25, only a few days after having the dream. I am now trying to deal with it and it's not easy. I have 2 best friends, Ronit, 34, who I saw last on her birthday in Arizona, was one of them. I live in NYC now, she moved to FL and we had plans to visit eachother and never loose touch. We were best friends, dammit. Terrible thing that happened. I guess I have to honestly pay close attention to the dreams.

I just hope that I can interpret them in time. I miss her, every day. For the rest of my life. She will always live in my heart.

dreams do seem to be able to tap into the future. however, cancer could also be a symbol for some relationshiop that is cancerous. Always try to first establish if a dream could be using the symbol in a metaphorical way. all words and symbols have very wide metaphorical meanings. Try exploring them first
