Two people, similar dream HELP ME

Ok so me and my boyfriend Alex broke up about two weeks ago and we stopped talking. We have recently agreed on just being friends for now..Anyways we were talking last night for the first time since the break up and I told him for some reason I had been having weird dreams. I told him Wednesday night I had a dream that two guys in a black car ran me over and threw me in the back seat and then drove to my house and threw me out in the front of my driveway. My mother came home and found me there and took me to the hospital which is where Alex was after he heard the news. Thats all I remember..

He freaked out cause he said he had a similar dream on Tuesday night. His dream was that he got a call from Bryan (my exboyfriend) saying Alex needed to "scrape" me up off of the road because he ran me over (with his black car). When Alex asked where to find me all Bryan said was "you know where" and for some reason Alex knew to go to the mall and he found me. He drove me to the hospital and I ended up being ok.

SOOOO what does this mean?? Could it possibly be a sign of death? Injury? And why did we dream the same thing? Keep in mind that we hadn't spoken for a good two weeks until last night.
