Hi Enigma,
Think of your dreams as your guardian angels, for that is what they really are. Dream wake you up when you need to wake up. It would help if you could solve your problem first, however no matter how bad your dreams are, they are only there to wake you up.
If your problem is to do with drugs, you must stop it. Drugs create confusion in the brain and the persons need more and more frightening dreams to wake them!
I hope you solve your problem>
Cheers Wolfjk

In the dreams my voice was being taken away and I would dream that I had already woke up... then the nightmare would continue. This happened to me more than 3 years ago for a period of about 2 weeks... One time I went to sleep in my bed and woke up to what felt like someone straddling my back and choking me from behind. After I was finally able to wake myself completely I just burst into tears. Ever since that dream I had trouble sleeping at night and instead of sleeping in my bed I began to sleep in the living room, on the couch, with the television on. I would usually stay up all night and as soon as my mother woke up I felt it was safe for me to fall asleep. But, on one occasion my mother was walking around in the living room and I was sleeping on the couch having a terrible nightmare about the devil controlling my body and forcing people to kill themselves... there was blood surrounding my nephew (who was 2 at the time) and it was just a very disturbing and frightening dream. Well, I thought I woke up and tried to tell my mom about it but every time I tried to speak no words would come out... and my mom was basically ignoring me. As soon as I finally came to, I saw my mom standing exactly where she was in my dream I started bawling and asking her why she wouldn't listen to me. She was confused so I explained to her the dreams I had been having and she invited one of her good friends over... they both laid hands on me and prayed in Jesus' name that these forces leave my body at once and I really felt it happen. I got chills all over my body and ever since that day, I have never had that type of dream again. I believe it is a force of satan that has entered the body, and manifests itself in your dreams.
i kept trying praying and stuff and i think it helps a lil bit well at least my mind has faith that i am alright, but i hear and see stuff i just try to ignore them and not pay too much atenttion and focus on reeal things hay que tener mas miedo a los vivos que a los muertos but still just the thought of having evil spirits freak me out! so maybe in your case it could have been that i have an open mind on those things. but looking that a lot of people feel the same way and have the exact feeling i think its just a brain confusing on whats real or not. and believe me that after watching so many unrealistic movies in the world your mind plays tricks on you but only when u let it get over your head so i think one has to have more control and just knowing that i am not alone and there is even a name for it! i feel relieved i thought i was going crazy lol but anyways just try to relax and not be paranoid at night and stop watching stupid scary movies!!! i mean there is enough going around in the real world to be scared about. so just feeding your brain with those horrible thoughts is just plain stupid. people should watch happy funny stuff cuz laughing its much better than being paranoid

I've been sleeping like two hours per night the last 3/4 days, n I was so exhausted ..so I had it immediately n I'm still so tired n I can't sleep now :/ I don't know what 2 do, even what to think when I'm in this dream..I believe that they comes to help me, but they still freaks me out and I feel so scared the hours after this..It's not drugs..my problem..but I have to stop it, if I understand how

well i always have trouble sleeping at night but just l8ly something happends to me somteimes.ive had this thing where i was on my back in bed nd id woke up but i hadnt reli woke up,like my head was tilted to the side nd my chest felt the most unbeliveable pressure i av ever felt! But i could look straight ahead it was like i was too scared i remember muttering get off me and i dont even know why i said it really i cudnt move i troud to shout nope i could barely mutter i couldnt even bang on the wall it was petrifying yet after i kinda forgot about it..nd i just dont understand it. The 2nd type of dream was probably the worst, i have had this one 3 times but some was worse than others.i fell asleep nd i woke up nd got up nd i looked down and i was still there on the sofa asleep but i was standing and i remember just standing there nd then getting the most extraordinary feeling ie ever experienced it was similar to panic apart frm more intense i tried so hard to get bk into my body nd at 1st the more i tried the more something was stopping me nd i could feel my inner self battling with whatever was happening nd in the end i won nd i regained normality got up nd went str8 bed nd didnt let myself think about it..Whats really bothering me tho is i want to know is it more than likely i got up from the sofa or did i never move from it?its sooo scary because i genuinely havent a clue cus i member me like gettin bk into my body which i thought was on the sofa but was i standing nd sat down or was i always on the sofa which 1 was me kinda thing.i have these things alot now but just most of the time there small less intense versions which i snap out of quick..i have looked what peopl have said nd i respect the scientific explanation but i really think somethings may just be unexplainable because wen i have these things esepcially on the more intense 1s i feel like im in a zone i shouldnt be in like i may even be on the brink of death if i didnt try so hard.in the case where i was frozen on my bed with my head tilted once i said get off me it slowly went but i was tensing like ive never tensed b4 nd even wen i started to gain movement i didnt dar look infront of me for about 10minutes.As a result ive fount i cant sleep as easy i dont get tired i think its like im scared but subconsciously like im ok with it i think but when i look back on the event tbh it really does effect me.sorry for the essay people but im just glad ive found sumwhere with ova ppl i can talk to about this thankyou id appreciate any opinions or "facts"thankys

Default Sleeping on a sofa

Hi Dandan,

When you sleep on your back after some time breathing becomes difficult and it causes heave breathing, gasping for air and very often the feeling that something is sitting on your chest.

Falling asleep on a sofa or a chair causes some of the worse dreams you can have! Very often you slouch forward and obstruct your own airways. Some people would call this an out of body experience, however it is your own subconscious try ing to wake you up by frightening you with the predicament of not being able to get back into the body! This subconscious mind has many tricks up it's sleeves!
Try to go to sleep in a comfortable position! However if you get these sort of dreams, dont be frightened. When you realise you're dreaming wake yourself up, get comfortable and go back to sleep!
Cheers Wolfjk
