Please tell me what you guys think of this, or what it could mean:
For the last couple of months every night I dream that I am living in the 1500's. It is always the same people, and it is like it picks up where it left off the previous night when I go to sleep. They "feel" so real, that most of the time I am not aware that I am dreaming until I wake up. Does this mean anything? Thank you for any help. |

It's a rather vague data, cleo_isis_0719. If I'm to help with any interpretation, the following info would be very useful. [And as a history graduate, I like to know such things too!]:- Firstly, can you be a little more specific on the date? Secondly, the location. Name of a town or city would help. Or just a country. Thirdly, who were you? Name. Gender. Occupation. Etc. Fourthly, who were these other people? Many thanks. Regards. Jon.

I am not entirely sure what the date is, I want to say 1505, but I am not positive. The dream takes place in England, and I am a young girl in the dream (she is probably 15 or so, where I am 21 in real life). She is lower nobility, and there is an older gentleman who is king. I never actually see her parents in the dream, she mostly deals with an older woman who is a servant. It is mostly just day to day things. She has a friend named Robert, who is lower nobility as well if I am not mistaken. Other than that she really does not talk to many other people, she is just quiet and watches everyone.

That's Henry VII [b. 1457, r. 1485-1509]. To gain the throne he defeated Richard III [b. 1452, r. 1483-1485] at the Battle of Bosworth. Henry was about 5 ft 10 to 6 ft, and slim in build. He had collar-length dark brown hair [later grey], cold grey-blue eyes, and a hooked nose. He usually wore a black cap with some kind of jewelled badge on it. And I am a young girl in the dream (she is probably 15 or so, where I am 21 in real life). She is lower nobility. So she was born around 1490. A year before the future Henry VIII, Henry VII's third child. Lower nobility is called 'gentry' in England. Do you remember where you lived? Did you have any brothers or sisters? I never actually see her parents in the dream, she mostly deals with an older woman who is a servant. Do you remember her name? Or the names of her parents? Or the name of the servant? It is mostly just day to day things. She has a friend named Robert, who is lower nobility as well if I am not mistaken. Do you remember his last name? Or anything particular about him? Cheers, Jon.

Okay, so I tried to remember everything I could this morning and wrote it down. Her name is Anne, and I believe she lives in Norfolk, but I really could not be any more specific, I am sorry. Robert is quite a bit older than she is, and I think I was wrong earlier about him being lower nobility- I think someone refered to him as Sir Robert last night, but I am not entirely sure if that would make it different.I am really sorry if that is not enough, that is just about all thats new information. I am going to try to write them down in the morning from now on, hopefully I might be able to make some sense of it all. Thank you for all your help!

Hello Cleo,
Every night for a couple of months? Improbable unless your experience relates to an ongoing conscious concern or social adjustment that began a couple of months ago. If I may inquire, do you sleep well or feel generally rested and refreshed when you awake from sleep? DrmDoc

If he is 'Sir' Robert, that means he has been knighted by the king for some service rendered. And that would make him 'gentry', or 'lesser nobility'. I had a feeling he was a knight. You were right. What does he look like? And what does Anne look like? It would be great if you could recall their surnames. Especially as there is a connection to Norfolk. The most famous Anne to come from there was Anne Boleyn. She was probably born about 1500/1501 at the original Blickling Hall. She was short and slim, with long dark hair, pale skin, and amazing dark eyes. She was said to have had a 'sixth finger' on one hand. I am going to try to write them down in the morning from now on, hopefully I might be able to make some sense of it all. Thank you for all your help. Please keep me posted on this. I'm intrigued. I'll help however I can. Regards, Jon.

Okay, so I did not dream at all for a few nights, which is fairly odd for me; but I did dream again last night. I did not get the chance to write it down, so I don't remember a whole lot. What I do remember though is her parents arranged for her to marry Robert. I dont think she loves him, but she respects him. He said something about Hawsted? I think that is where they will be going? I don't know. I tried looking different things up in the dream dictionary for this site, but it makes no sense. Any thoughts?

The Village Hawstead is in Suffolk, England, 5 Km from Bury St Edmund’s. A lovely part of the country. Visited the area 2 months ago, and didn't want to leave!! Lots of pretty multi-coloured houses in picturesque towns and villages. Lavenham is divine. Many timbered Medieval buildings... . History History and Antiquities of Hawstead Its Church Hawstead Hope this helps! Regards, Jon.

After looking through the information you gave, I looked up Sir Robert Drury. His first wife's name was Anne.(Robert Drury - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) I am not sure if this is just coincidence, but it has thoroghly creeped me out
