Stung by a Bee

I recently had a dream while napping, was wondering if anyone had any possible interpretations?
it started off I was with my girlfriend and her family(seemed like a family gathering)
I can't recall much of what was happening but We were outside having a good time, then a large bee started flying around me, I was very afraid of the bee and so was everyone else. It wouldn't leave me alone, so I swatted at it to get it to go away, this seemed to just irritate the bee and make it fly nearer to me (I was feeling completely horrified and helpless). The bee landed on me and was preparing to sting me when I woke up screaming like a little girl.

Now I looked it up on the internet and bee stings foretell unexpected ,misfortune and that I will be surrounded by troubles, I don't really think that this is what this dream signifies though it seemed more like a chase dream

I had actually saw this particular Bee while outside on my balcony watering my plant, by far the biggest bee I have seen in my life and it scared the crap out of me because it was blocking my way inside.

You’ve experienced a basic truth about many “dream dictionaries” whether online or in book form in that the explanation is usually fixed and unbending as well as often being unnecessarily dire.

Although you’ve mentioned that you saw a large frightening bee, normally a dream doesn’t comment on something you already know, that is, you know you were afraid of the bee and don’t need to be told again.

One view is that the images in dreams are based on analogy and metaphor, so in this case your dream may have picked up on this recent incident because it somehow can illustrate and clarify an inner psychological state and/or perhaps an outer relationship problem etc.

In general terms, bees have wings as birds do, and both are considered as being “messengers”, conveying information from the unconscious mind to the ego.

If dreamt took a bee means will receive a benefit.
Running away from a bee meansyou will overcome someone who is relatively rich.
If it sting means he will give you a gift.
