Aquarium dreams

Hello,
I have been having a recurring dream about aquariums for several years and have decided its time to try to understand what they mean.
Usually they are giant aquariums, taking up a whole wall in my house. Sometimes they are like swimming pools with one side made of glass that makes a wall in my house. They are almost always very beautiful, with lots of big healthy fish. Occasionally, the water is dirty and I feel ashamed for other people to come into my house. Last nite the aquarium was mine, but was in public shopping place and was broken, the water was leaking out and I ran around the mall trying to find someone who could fix it. I was so worried about the fish inside. There were starfish, baby fish, big fish, and towards the end when the water was nearly gone there was a wet fox standing in the middle. This dream was an unusual "aquarium" dream for me. Usually the fish are doing OK---sometimes the scene is of me shopping for more fish for my aquarium---I am usually proud of it in my dream. In real life I own a small 8-gallon tank with 3 goldfish that I like but am not overly crazy about or anything.
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation says this about aquariums in dreams:-

"signifies that you have acknowledged your emotions but have not yet confronted them. Thus, it may refer to your unconscious thoughts or repressed sexual desires. Also, you may feel that your life is going no where or that you feel it is going in circles. Alternatively, the aquarium may indicate that you need to calm down and set some time for yourself to relax and unwind."

The state of the aquarium, the water and its fish could reflect what's happening in your life: events, emotions, states of mind, etc. And reflect those.

No, I can't say for sure, but I used to have dreams about aquariums all of the time when I was young, and usually I was the one swimming around inside of the tank. It always filled me with wonder, and happiness. Ideas, anyone?

Hi,
A swimming pool or a aquarium means a work place or some collected money.
The fish means a person and a baby too.
Wall is an indirect saying for your life situation.A hubby or b/f and a child.Star fish means someone who is a soldier or a scientist and works there.
If broken and water leaking means losing a big deal of money or a bad life situation.
