Double Suicide

I live with my boyfriend of 5.5 years. When we were teenagers we both lost our best friends to suicide. When I woke up yesterday morning I said "I had such a strange dream. I dreamed that Lauren was still alive." and he looked kind of shocked and said, "I had the same dream about Mike." Is it weird that we dreamed on the same night that our best friends that passed away when we were teenagers were still alive? We hadn't been discussing them or anything in the previous day.

Also, in my dream, I discovered that Lauren had never killed herself. Instead, she had staged her own death so she could live her life out as a male. When I found her online I contacted her immediately and once we got back in touch we were inseperable again. What does that mean??

I think you're both missing these friends of yours. The reason you were dreaming at the same time is perhaps because you are so close you kind of know what each other is thinking without having to say so, or perhaps there is some more concrete reminder such as a date that is coming, a birthday or an anniversary of the death? Some piece that brought your friends to mind on this particular day. As for the being alive and living life as a male, I think again, you're just missing your friend and wanting for her to be here, so your mind thought of some plausible explanation that would reunite you with your friend. Or perhaps your friends were with you both last night in your dreams. I believe we can reach to the beyond occasionally during our dreams.
