OKay, I had this dream back in May. Shortly after I came back from Washington DC. Here goes the dream.
I had a dream where I was with my group of friends in Washington DC. We had just gotten out of the tour of Robert E. Lee's house. We were standing by a statue of Robert, when all of a sudden I am back at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, I look up at a "carving" (i guess you can say that's what it was) of Washington, Rosevelt and Lee that was carved into stone. Next thing I know the Presidents that I was looking at strat to come out of the stone and pick me up by the throat and chocking me. I am now in Lee's house (HIS bedroom to be exact) exactly above the door with my shoulders touching the wall and I was kicking me feet but I was kicking air because my feet were where the door was. I woke up coughing and choking because I felt like I was really being chocked. I went into the bathroom and saw a red handmark around my neck where I was being chocked. The thing of ti was, I was the only one in the house and both of my hands were on my stomach. So I wasn't choking myself. Could anyone tell me what this could be? What had happened? Anything? I am dying to know what this was about? |

If one dreamt someone suffocated or choked him means he will receive some livelihood and a good life.
Some interpreters say he may have a sorrow.

Quote:
Washington D.C - it represents the center of power Robert E. Lee - rebel commander, civil war, conflict, division...looking at a memorial of him may represent you looking back at a rebellious time in your life that was a turbulent time, probably during a formative period, such as your teenage years Tomb of the Unknown Solider / Dead Presidents - something from your rebellious past you thought was dead comes back and over powers you Another possible explanation, you could be very concerned about money since people often use 'dead presidents' as slang for money and at some point in your dream, the back of your throat closed up, eitheir due to allergies or constriction due to sleep apnea, or the condition that causes snoring...that would explains the sensation...but I think the first explanation is more likely.... |

Okay, say that it is the sleep apnea, how would you explaine the red hand marks around my neck?

Could be from the position on your pillow causing irritation, as you were loosing oxygen, you may well have had a great deal of uncontrolled movement typical of people who have sleep disorders, or it could be pyschosymptomatic (a physical reaction to suggestion)
