Me instead of another girl?

I was in my kitchen as my mum was talking to me about some trip she planned, but I wasn't exactly listening, I was off in my own world looking through the fridge. Then I realized I hadn't packed yet, so I kept repeating over and over, "How long are we going for?" until she answered me with "Two weeks."
I rushed out of the kitchen and into Danny Jones of the British band, McFly. [I have recently been having a lot of dreams with him in it, and I don't know why.] and he had this girl on his arm. He chuckled to himself as I yelled back to my mum that I hadn't even packed yet; we had an hour to get to the airport.
I don't remember what happened next, but I do remember looking through the shelfs underneath the microwave for something, and I began moving the food out of the way to get to the other side of the living room [?] and I could see Danny's girl and I could hear him singing, 'Walk In The Sun'. I began moving the cans of food out of my way a lot faster, but my mum stopped me from climbing through and told me just to go around into the living room, so I did. But, when I walked in, Danny and his girl were suddenly asleep on the couch, cuddling. I walked passed and told my mum to come look at them, saying they looked so cute, but I felt as if I was being cheated on. Danny opened his eyes and looked at me with a grin. It looked as if he wanted me there beside him instead of that girl.
