did not find my son

I had a horrible dream.I dreamed that my son had went out to the frontyard of my house with his dad.His dad was raking or cleaning outside.Anyhow I assumed he was outside with his dad when i went outside i didnt see my son.I yelled for him and he wouldnt come out.I was so scared that i had lost him.I actually woke up on that part.When I was scrared and looking for him,and didnt find him.His dad was just like all calm and all he said was i dont know when i asked where is he,and kept cleaning.In real life i do fear these things and do not trust his dad to watch him,but i dont know why i had this dream.Any help on this is appreciated.thank you

Perhaps, it is not your son that is lost but maybe he represents you and he has your qualities that your not in touch with. Could it be you're searching for the child in you or maybe your sense of direction...

If your son was lost means you don't regard or appreciate him as he merits.
Also a boy is a symbol for a sorrow and was lost means good means ending a sorrow.

Hi Jewel. I have 4 adult children, but what's interesting is that even now, after all of them have been grown and gone for 12 years now, They're always still little children in my deams. I've always thought that these dreams might represent my own doubts about wether I did a good job as a mother, or if I gave my children all that they needed. then again, maybe it's because I'm revisiting what I consider to be the most important time of my life. You may be having these type of dreams because you know in your heart and in your mind that no one can care for your child like you can. I hope this gives you some ideas for your own deam interpretation.

I have to say thank you all.Its so weird how all of you mentioned something that was true.The first with Glinda.I am actually trying to find a sense in direction in my life right now,many things have been happening mostly not too good.Varzandeh,I truely believe that I have not been paying too much attention to my son lately because of all the problems in my life right now,and the sorrow was probably yesterday,when a good friend of mine and I got into a bit of a discussion and have not spoken to each other nor probably will anytime soon.It was somebody I had feelings for,and I really dont know what happened,and it does make me a bit sad.So that may be the sorrow.As for BlueAngel's answer I agree totally that no one can protect or care for my son as I do.Thank you all for your help.
