Black bird with red string

I was wondering if anyone else can help me make sense of this please. I had this really strange yet serene dream of a shiny small blackbird (definately not a crow) landing outside my window on my porch rail (where I would usually sit an work)
Outside seemed like sureal dusk. This bird chirped to get my attention. It didn't frighten of scare me, just an attention getting sound. When I moved it didn't fly away, just moved closer to me an kept eye contact. In it's beak was a bright, bright colored red yarn. It seemed like every thing in this dream was dark (sky, bird etc) to get my attention and see the contrast of the red yarn. The bird never droped it, we just stared at each other until I guess the dream ended. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Do you know anybody very close to you a family or a friend related to a yarn? The bird has a message to you about this person and I feel it's a bad news because it's a black bird. Please let me know about my interpretation in the future.

According to An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation, if it was a blackbird:-

"a bad omen, bringing about misfortune for you in the coming weeks. It also signifies your lack of motivation and that you are not utilizing your full potential. To see a flying blackbird in your dream, signifies good fortune."

The dark sky you said was a 'surreal dusk'. Was it a stormy sky? Or the kind of 'day-turning-to-night' you get with a total solar eclipse? Either way it fits with the gloomy bird reading.

Red can be a warning, a sign of danger.
