Default Dreams during childhood of the end of the world

I remember many years ago, during my childhood, that I would continously get dozens upon dozens of dreams over the years of the world coming to an end. I remember writing the dreams down, but for some reason I got really pissed off and ended up ripping all the dreams up and throwng them in the bin so now I have nothing with which to go off from.

Anyway in these dreams I remember the world would ALWAYS end at 5:30pm to 6:00 pm. I think it was summer as well as it was always bright outside. Anyway I remember hearing word of something bad going to happen, and that the world would end at a certain time, always the same time. Sometimes in the dreams the world would turn to lava, raising like the sea, or a massive asteroid would impact into the world and destroy it.

Always these same two things that would destroy the world. I also remember being extremely anxious in the dream about it, and wandering by myself around the place. There were many people about, enjoying themselves, and I would always see a certain friend around and would talk to him. Late in the day, and God did the day seem to last long, I'd go back home with my family, we'd have our last dinner together and then we'd all hug and say our goodbyes. Suddenly the world would begin to go dark and I'd hear a massive thunder. We'd all run outside and a gigantic asteroid would fly over our heads, utterly monstrous, and it crashed in the distance. A massive explosion and cloud shook the sky and the explosion would reach part of land in front of our house before stopping. Then I knew we were safe and the world wouldn't end. Unfortunately for the other dreams where the world turned to lava always it ended sadly and with death, with our house floating on the lava and me and my family would be stranded on it.

Any interpretations please? Thanks.

Default End of the world

High Mashek,
I don't know why you should worry - you live near to it!
From all of your dreams I think you were a sensitive child who listened to some adult conversation and took everything in.
I think we all have an individual life style and dreams are part of our make up. Perhaps you are a light sleeper like me and have many weird and wonderful dream! It took me more than half a century to decypher my own dreams. However I would be no wiser if I did not know how computers work, and did not understand a bit about quantum theory. Dreams use very small bits of energy to regulate and control the life of the sleeper. The process is very similar to how a computer is programmed and how you and I put the bits of information into it.
Whatever you belive in I think your dreams are always about what is happening in the sleep they happen in. Perhaps you need a more dramatic scenario to activate your brain during sleep. There is also the probability that you see further back into the subconscious abyss where dreams are more vivid and more violent.
Dreams show a bit of the dreamer's character, however the dreamer has to be fairly intelligent and have good language skills to describe a dream. As you know it is like painting a scene with words.
I really enjoy reading the creative way the followers of Jung and Freud interpret dreams, however I am sure that without understanding the modern state of science and communication technics Mr's Jung and Freud could nont have had a clue what dreams were about.
I can give you a few clues about studying your own dreams: After every dream look at your body position, sense how your body feels, any aches or pains, dizziness or quisineess. If you examine the contents of your dream, especially the ones you think should have a meaning or message, I am sure you will find that most things relate not to the future, but to your past experience and perception. Another thing: it is likely that any of your dreams might contain memories all the times of your life - your childhood, your recent past and even yesterday.
Cheers Wolfjk
