This dream is a tad short but from what you say it sounds as if you might be harbouring a degree of guilt at something you might have done or said which had the potential to destroy the relationship but owing to your friend's response (it's possible she was unaware of the act) the relationship remains intact but has left you regreting what occurred.

I dreamt I stole 20 Sterling pounds from my friend's purse. In real life she lives in a different country. In the dream I was at her apartment.
To dream that you are stealing, denotes that you are deprived of something. And where the stealing takes place is indicative of your neediness. Alternatively, it may signify unrealized and unfulfilled goals. You may have set your goals too high. I find Varzandeh a little obscure at times!  Cheers Jon.
