Dead Brother

hi all

ok so my brother died early last year and i havent dremt about him in about a year, i miss him alot and dremt about him last night, it was odd and cant get it out of my head so im hoping to get some help.

i was standing in a semi crowded room when he walked straight up to me and said "if i pushed you would you fall flat" then he turned and i watched him walk away.

any ideas on this would be greatly apreciated.

Sorry to hear about your brother. Did he pass away around this time last year? You were clearly close to him, and he meant a lot to you. My sister [I have only one sibling] and I have always been best friends. We can tell each other anything, and confide things we wouldn't tell Mum & Dad!

Maybe he's trying to tell you not to 'hang onto the past'? To move on in your life? But I'd need more info on how you got on with him. In other words, how he treated you.

Hi and thanks for your reply.

He died febrary 22nd 2006. We were very close growing up and although we went our seperate ways when we left home and only saw each other only once every few months we remained friends, not so close to tell each other our deepest secrets but to enjoy sharing things in our lives together. speaking of this in the dream he looked as he did when we were living at home before he dyed his hair and changed his look. He was 26 when he died and i am 26 now. This is not something i would generally expect for him to say to me, in fact i cant remember a time were the first thing out of his mouth wasnt "cher, howsit" but there was no cher no hello just what i said.

at first i thought maybe im coming up against a test of some sort were i have the choice of succeding or failing and that maybe my subconcious had just put a face to the person saying it to me, but then i have other questions such as why didnt i try follow him or talk to him, i just watched him walk away. i dont know alot about dreams but i dont believe this is ur average dream and it has got to mean something, or am i just wanting it to mean something.
