Post Hanging Cats

I have had this dream twice today, each time before I woke up. Once at 530am and again at 8am.

In the dream I had just woke up. I was on my back, my room was bright, not like the sun shining directly through the window, just bright from natural light. I turned over on my stomach and looked through the mini-blinds to see three orange tabby cats hanging on a chain length fence across the street. The cats were still alive struggling to get loose. There were two men sitting in metal chairs on the covered porch to the house laughing and carrying on like nothing was wrong. Then I wake up, both times!

Someone please help...what does this mean?

If you sleep on your back you sure to have a dream that either turns you over or wakes you up. Thr eason for it is because breathing gets difficult sleeping on your back.
However if you woke up and turned over onto your stomach it is even worse! Not only it is more difficult to breath but your arms get trapped under your body. Your dream indicates that you were strugling to free your arms like the cats: "The cats were still alive struggling to get loose." The men ignoring the cats plight made you angry and annoyed. That is the waking element in the dream.
Cheers Wolfjk

Thank you, I guess I forgot to mention that I do sleep on my stomach but when I "awoke in the dream" I was on my back. When I awoke from the dream I was still on my stomach.

I do think that I must cut off some of the circulation in my arms at night while I am sleeping because I wake up several times through out the night because my hands are asleep and tingling.

I will mention that the place I was in (room) and people across the street were strange to me because I have never seen them before. The house across the street from me does not have a chain link fence in the front yard.

I dont know alot but cats do symbolize independence. I've never had a dream about a cat. Snakes, spiders but never a cat. Cats also hold nine lives or thats what we say.

Thannks for your post. Strangeness, things out of ordinary and bizzare scenarios are important part of dreams. They are there to grab the sleeper's attention mor than something usual and hum-drum. The brain has to be allert befor the dream can tellthe sleeper to move, turn over or wake up.
Cheers Wolfjk
