Adam Sinclair

It starts as I am walking the hallway of a school where I work. It isn't the actual school I work in, but I know that I work here in the dream. My mom is helping out somewhere with a class, but not my own class. I pass her in the hall and we talk. Then suddenly I'm meeting this man, Adam Sinclair, and we are no longer at school. Somehow we are in a small enclosed space, much like a shower. I have the sense that I know this man from my childhood or from high school. We talk and then I become enamored with him. He kisses me. And my knees buckle, I feel light-headed, etc. Next I am in a house that I am watching, accompanied by a small girl that I am babysitting. It feels like a relative's house. There are many floors and doors and windows. Adam calls and we talk, then as I am explaining something to him, he is no longer there and I am talking to the dead phoneline. It wasn't abrupt like he hung up, just suddenly he wasn't there. I wander around the house closing up windows and checking on things, with the little girl in tow. All the time I'm wondering what I will do with the little girl if Adam shows up and wants to go somewhere. A good portion of me is willing to leave the girl, even though she is very young. I find a door and a window that are open that I leave and then return to shut against the weather and dark outside. Adam shows and brings his mother and sister. He is wearing a tuxedo and wants to go to a M'aitre D' party (whatever that is) where apparently he is in a contest of some sort. I'm torn because I want to go with him, yet I feel responsible for the little girl. I notice I am in my pajamas and I'm talking to adam's mom. Then I come to. When I woke the name Adam Sinclair was so in my head. I couldn't shake it. So I looked in yearbooks and on a high school website and searched for the name. But I didn't find anyone by that name. I have a friend named Amy Sinclair that I've only known for a very short time, but as far as I know she doesn't have a brother. I'm wondering if the name is significant somehow and if so what importance does it have?
