I am driving my car ... my son is in the passenger seat and my twin daughters are in the back seat. We are driving over a bridge that looks like the Golden Gate Bridge. Cars begin crashing in every direction and they all (with each impact) move my car closer to the edge of the bridge until it falls off the side. I somehow manage to open the windows before we hit the water and as it is filling up I explain to the children that we will go out the window quickly and swim ... Andrew will take one twin (8 yr old) and I will take the other. The last thing I remember is when I got my daughter out of the window and into the water. She panicked and kept dragging us both down under the water. I wake up at that moment with my heart beating fast and my mind trying to finish the dream (get everyone to safety)
Any help is appreciated ... this dream occurs several times a week and I do not understand it. Thanks!! |

Hi,
Driver gives support and advice to the passenger seat. Bridge means someone who is useful for everyone But falling down from a bridge means not achieving a wish. A daughter means achieving a wish. Diving into the water means starting a new job if swimming means working. If sank deep into the water means receiving some power from the government.

Hi,
Quote:
My advice is try to check the position you slept in when you wake, check for any pain in parts of your body. You could also have a medical check up for high blood pressure.

My experience with dreams like this all point to stress and burden of self.
The bridge might imply a period of transition in your life, and the crashing traffic may indicate obstacles and/or your powerlessness, concern about the transition. Your babies in the car respresent your priority of family. The obstacles, ultimately pushing you and your family around, into into danger are just that! You plan an escape, but an unexpected twist thwarts it when you have the difficulty saving your daughter. The fact this is recurring is telling you to slow down, get rid of your anxiety about needing to change something. Your life is currently stable and secure and you need to hesitate and resist temptation to make a significant change at this time. Also, there is a burden you place upon yourself that your dream shows you have no control over - that you need to place with God. Learn to KNOW that God is protecting your family - beyond anything you can do, and relax in THAT peace. That should also relieve your anxiousness and the stress that comes along when you believe you are running the show! Sit back, accept and enjoy the interception God's made through this dream |

Thank you all very much for your assistance.
I have many things going on since my husband passed away 6 months ago. I have been told to have my blood pressure checked regularly since it has been high the last few months. Stress is a definate factor financially since I moved and have not yet found a permanent teaching position. (I guess wishes could be a factor here) I will try to realize what this dream is telling me so that I may move on. I will also check the way I am sleeping. Thanks again! Tara |

taraj---hope this helps ---this one was prety easy, this is a stress dream --your brain is worried about your life's problems
the cars crashing are everyday problems faced by people. the water is stress or life problems crashing into the ocean or the ocean rising to gobble your family up is life problems. the window and escape plan is you trying to protect you children the part of dragging you and your daughter down is the weight of the stress in your life. the no ending part is good --you have a chance to think about how to pull through. |
