It's Been Almost 1yr And He Came To See Me Again...

On June 23rd 2006 my friend Charlie was killed at a party in the Bronx, NY. About 3 weeks later he came to see me in my dream, he didn't speak. I just remember seeing him and thinking to myself "but arent you dead??". After this 1st time I saw him 2 more times in my dreams, the 3rd one being after I complained to my brother, (who by the way is best friends with Charlie and was there when he was killed), that Charlie came to see me twice but I never get to talk to him, He came again and this time he stood out from the crowd, every one was wearing darker clothing and he was all in white, he smiled at me and gave me a big hug and squeezed me tight as if to say there now you got something from me so dont complain!! I woke up and I was so happy I thanked him for that. That was last year now it's getting so close to the 1yr anniversary of his death and I am planning on going to NY and visiting his grave, that has been heavy on my mind and I wish that I didnt have to do this. Well last night he came to see me again!! It's weird because in my dream I know he is dead, but yet there he is so alive, I was so happy to see him that I started to cry, I said to him Oh my god Charlie you're alive!! and he said yeah I didnt die I just got shot, and I was like wait until I tell everybody that you're not dead!! then I was like it's about to be a year though where have you been all this time, everyone thinks you are dead, and he said again, nope I"m not dead I just got shot, so we started walking together side by side and I said to him look at you, you look good, you gained weight.. I started to touch him, like I felt on his stomach and thighs ( wierd I know), then I asked him did you get my kiss?? (I kissed him on the cheek at his funeral), and he smiled at me real big and said yes!! then he mentioned something about his lips being dry or chapped, I dont know or remember.. and that's where it ended. The only reason why I decided to put this on here was because I called my brother to tell him about this dream and he had had a similar dream about a friend of his from minnesota that was killed last year also, He told me that he asked him the same question I asked Charlie, where have you been it's been a year and his friend replied I didnt die I just got shot and my brother said he was thinking the same thing I was thinking like I have to call this one and that one and tell them you're not dead.... how could this be possible that my brother and I have a dream this similar about 2 deceased friends?? are they trying to send us a message, if so what??

That is so cool. Although I know you are still grieving. I think Charlie's message was to let you know that there is life after death. His words "I'm not dead I just got shot." From his perspective he is still alive evidently. You seem open enough so that he can contact you. Your brother seems to also have this same type openess. Charlie probably realizes you want to visit his grave. In his own way he was trying to tell you he wasnt in his grave.
You must really miss him.

Hello. I'm really sorry about your friend. I guess dreams like this can let us know that our friends are always still with us, even after they cross over to the other side. Every time you dream of Charlie, take all of the comfort that you can from him, that's why he comes. Good luck.

First off I am sorry for your lost. My nephew was shot and killed last month so I can understand how you must be feeling. Anyway, I agree with Vee. It seems to me like you're still grieving and Charlie is just trying to let you know he is fine and in a better place. He is also letting you know that there really is life after death. My mother has had many dreams about deceased family and friends, where she was getting messages, that is very similar to yours. I believe this is what is going on with you and your brother.

thank you all so much for your information, and you are absoulutely right I am still grieving.. I dont know if I will ever get over this, I had another close friend of mine killed 8yrs ago & I was thinking, when this happened to Charlie, that I'm still not over one friend when I loose another...

I think about them all the time... and I still cry for them..

It's obvious to me you are a very sensitive person, and a good friend. I hope you can come to a place where your sorrow is not so intense, because I believe that's what's causing these dreams. Good luck. May God bless and heal your heart.
