This is a recurring dream for me. The characters and faces change in it constantly, but it's the same general dream: I find myself angry or jealous at the person in front of me, but everytime I go to hit them, my arm gets really heavy like something's pushing it back. Sometimes I make contact with the person, but just very lightly, and other times I can't even hit the person. Pretty much everytime I have this dream, the opposing character laughs at the fact that I can't hit him/her. It's never a particular person I'm trying to fight (male OR female), but it's always me who is trying to hit them... but can't. This is probably a very simple and routine dream to interpret, but I can't figure it out. Please help me interpret!!!!

It sounds as if you are jealous of someone closely related to you and that this jealousy turns to hatred which you would like to express but are probably afraid to do so. Through not expressing your anger you feel the other person takes advantage of you. Could this be sibling rivalry?

Hi,
Quote:
Try to feel your arm next time you have this dream. The dream could have several causes. My guess is that you lie on your arm too long and it becomes numb or has pins-and-needles. Other causes could be too much work, too much excersise or some medical problem: Repetitive Strain Injury. The jellousy, anger and irritation are dream devices to bring you near wakfulness. The sleeper often makes, or try to make the moves the dreams suggest. Cheers Wolfjk

Hi. I hope this doesn,t seem too cliche, but maybe your dream is trying to tell you that you are not sure how to deal with anger issues, and how to effectively stand up foryourself without being seen as overly hostile? That's something that took me a very long tie to recognize in myself, and even longer to figure out how to solve. Sometimes, just realizing that you can't control other people's wrong behavior helps allot, and it's like a load off your shoulders. Good luck!
