I'm not ashamed about having sexual dreams, I'm mostly just interested in the meaning of this particular event in some of them, especially since it's repeatative so I feel as though maybe something in my life may be unresolved?
So, the thing that embaresses me, this event, is that in the dreams I'm masterbating, and it's always analy. In reality I have nothing aginst it, but it's nooooot foooor meeeee...Lol.
Now, I know that dreams are usually trying to tell you something unrelated to the symbolism they use...Or something that's obvious, like the phrase, "Screwing yourself over," comes to mind, but I really don't see how that would apply since I'm very happy with where my life is going right now. So, I really want some other ideas on what this could mean?

Like I've been sayin' (read other posts by me above), wasn't really embaressed that it was sex, it was more the kinda sex it was, which I was just a little shy to talk about. ^^;

I am guessing here and I would accept that dreaming of anal sex could hold variations in its interpretation but it made me wonder if somewhere in your subconscious (possibly from your unbringing) that sex was regarded as being a dirty act and hence the dream image. It seems that many enjoy anal sex of whatever orientation they may be but it seems alien and unnatural to me and something to which I normally do not give any thought so find it difficult to understand from where the enjoyment lies. If one is unable to have sex on a regular basis, and especially so when young, then erotic dreams and masturbation are the natural release valves. I also wonder if the desire for anal sex is the compensatory sign of dominance and submission for which many seem to yearn; a kind of perversion but one that seems prevalent. Beyond those suggestions I have nothing further to contribute.

I'm actually female, which is why this seemed so odd to me.
I have a boyfriend now, and we're both bi sexual, and not too long after I posted this topic, like a switch flipped, now I like anal sex...
So I think the dreams were as someone else posted here, symbolic of my feelings of how sex is dirty and taboo and if you have any kinks you're weird...

It turned out I did like anal sex and was repressing my feelings to try new things because I felt sex was a dirty thing and if you had any kinks it couldn't be romantic and made you weird. I'm getting over that now. ^^;

In general, your dream (especially because of the anal aspects) infers that you need to release tension or anxiety. Very possibly, you are internalizing much in that way of pressures that come your way and now the message is it is time to let it out! Get rid of the tension.
Any way you see fit to rid yourself of tension is OK. Find a way to deal with the pressures of waking life! That is the message.

I really am a very stressed person and sexually, a very very late bloomer, so this makes perfect sense to me.
