Default Gold Spontaneously Appearing

Dreamed 5/30/07
I dreamed I had been sent a long journeyby GOD ( He taken me from my home and set me on this journey). I was tired of staying temporarily in various places. I wanted a permanent place to settle down in. The hotel I was going to next was a very large private residence that looked like a mansion. The owners were very kind, and let me have a room for free. The room had 2 full baths, 2 beds (one single, one double) and a couple of televisons. I got up in the middle of the night. I walked by the tv stand and noticed the shelf on it was empty. When I reached out to touch the shelf, piles of gold coins appeared spontaneously! They looked like the LIBERTY QUARTER ($2.5 Liberty Head) I also got a handful of golden tickets (think 'Willy Woka & the Chocolate Factory') that entitled me to get into places only a privilaged few can get into. The coins in the dream had a queen on the front of them, and they were from the 1920's. Meanwhile, the hotel owners, were in another room laughing because they knew about this, and it was their old gold they were giving away but it was GOD who was making the gold suddenly appear. I knew the gold was worth a lot of money, and realized I could be wealthy if I sold the coins. I was shocked, and I was questioning if this was really happening. The gold coins seemed so real, when I woke, I could still feel the weight of them in my hand, and my hand was in such a position as if holding a bunch of coins.

Earlier this year, on May 9th, I also had the same coins appear in a dream. Queen Elizabeth II was visiting the U.S. Dad and I were entertaining the Queen. While on a walk with her, these same gold coins, with the Queen's portrait engraved on them, suddenly appeared on the ground at my feet. Dad and I were able to just pick them up and pocket them. They were free gifts.

This makes 2 dreams with the Queen and gold coins and a 3rd this May/June where some stranger gives me a free gift.

Two nights ago, I dreamed a stranger showed me to give an amazing antique rife. I saw it, wanted it, intended not to keep it and just give it back to the man, but the old man was like an angel, he was sent by some Higher Power to make sure I have it as a gift.

Last night I was on stage next to an incredible musican playing rhythum & blues on acostic gutiar. It was a packed audience. I had no way of entertaining the audience until a silver flute spontaneously appeared in my hands, and I was able to perform right along with my friend.

Default I think I may have figured it out

GOD set me on a journey in life. GOD provides all the provisions. The dream shows that I get tired of having no permanent home, always on the move. I have no place to settle down and enjoy life. Getting up in the night to see if there is anything else represents that I am questioning if there is anything else, anything to look forward to? God spontaneously gives me a place of honor, and I get recongnition.

Default Re: Hermes

Hi-

I think you are close to something you value and it is both graspable and ungraspable to you.

The dream seems to be preparing you for a journey into the depths. The Greeks use to say a god visits us in our dreams. The god can take any form or appearance it wishes, but the god visiting you in these three dreams is unmistakable. It is Hermes.

Hermes is a god of commerce. Hermes is a guide of souls into and out of the underworld. (The underworld is another name for the realm of dream or Aides/Hades, which means invisible). This is the realm of the dead in the sense that what appears here are images. Images are vehicles passing between the consc. and unconsc in living psyche. Images have no flesh but do carry psychic weight. In your waking life you are reminded of this "real" characteristic of images. It is what your hand's grasp understands. The hand holds the value of the coin. The value of the coin is a felt-sense having no physicality yet having substantiality in the material imagination. The elemental nature of the gold is equivalent to water (Bachelard). What the coin is is a token for Charon, the ferryman into and out of the deeper layers in psyche. The Queen is both mater and matter, an image of eternal nature.

If you look up the story of the birth of Hermes whose father is Zeus and whose mother is Maya, you will see the infant Hermes is a tricky kind and an inventive kind. He goes after Apollonic flesh, invents Hermetic shoes, gets in and out of closed and locked places easily and invents a lyre, which he gifts to Apollo, charming him and causing Zeus merriment. Hermes is slick. If you want a look at Hermes in the movies, watch Johnny Depp in the first Pirates movie. That's a hermetic nature.

Best,
mythopoet

This makes sense. Believing in JESUS in both graspable and not graspable, real but in spirit. It is the nature of faith.

I think that recurring dreams are to be taken even more seriously than other dreams, and it seems like this last one was a lucid dream too, because you were aware of holding something in your hand. I dreamt of such a thing for the first time when I was just 4 years old. I dreamt that my family had travelled to Paris, where I got this beautiful hand mirror, and indeed, 45 years later, I can still remember that on the back of it, there was a painted scene of a pretty blue cable car going across a bridge over the river, very Thomas Kincaide-like. As I felt myself getting close to waking up I told myself I would hold on tight to the beautiful mirror, and I would still have it when I woke up. Well, when I woke up, I had a ping-pong paddle in my hand, but still, it was a lucid dream, and my first.
Your dream seems to be preparing you for new blessings, and also telling you that all riches are really in the Lord's hands, and His to bless with, whoever he will. Pray, and keep your eyes open, and keep posting updates if you get anymore of these exciting drwams, it is really uplifting to hear about them!
