it was about a girl I went out with 4 years ago.. heres what i remember of my dream:
I was at a sports tournament of some sort when I saw my ex-girlfriend so I approached her, things turned out well, and we decide to get back together. We watch some games together while holding hands/holding eachother. At the end of the tournament, I have to leave, and she has to leave on a plane. On my way home I for some reason know what plane she is on so I get out of my car and wave as it flys overhead. then I wokeup, with feelings of sadness and lonliness. also, I'm not sure what forum to put this in so i'll add it here. sometimes when i sleep I wake up and can see my surroundings, but I cant move or speak, and find it difficult to breath. The longer it lasts the more difficult it gets to breath which makes me struggle more to try and move, mostly i focus all my will power to move a finger or a toe, once I get one moving a bit it takes a few seconds and then I am jerked awake and able to move and regain my breath. The more long lasting ones are quite a scary experiance. Last edited by peanut5 : 05-30-2007 at 12:50 PM. |

Your dream;
Im thinking that your memory is rekindling memories of a past relationship. It was a fun, non serious relationship, but you still miss the fun you had together and thats why you felt sad when you woke up. Though if it was a serious relationship then id say that one of you wasn't quite ready for it at that time and that you are feeling some rgrets about that. Your also suffering from sleep paralysis, don't worry its nothing to be afraid of and it wont hurt you. There are loads of explanations for it and im sure others will tell you what they think, though i believe more in the physical explanation When you are in your the REM or deep phase of sleep your body will produce a chemical (i think its called serotonin- not 100% sure) which makes your body paralysed so you don't act out your dreams. If you wake up suddenly (you may not realise youve been startled) your mind is immediatly alert, but it takes time for the chemical to wear off your body. Thats why you feel paralysed. I know its a nasty thing to have, i get it quite alot. It doesn't seem like it but it actually only lasts a few seconds. So don't worry! |
