boss leaving out of blue

I had a dream that my boss left, did not show up for work, and I saw her driving on a hill/mountain side surrounded with trees on each side of the road, trees were full of green leaves, and when I realized I was at work, by boss (the one who had quit and was suppose to be driving on that mountain side, was also at work and said "well well, wonder who we're going to have as a boss now" , insinuating that I was the only candidate, and from that point I would be the boss. Any ideas?

Do you feel as if you are ever having to fulfil her responsibilites? Or do you evere say too many things about your boss. Do you maybe not appreciate what she does?

I am just wondering how your day was going the day of the dream?

It might help with "stressing" different parts of the dream ... Just wondering what kind of mindset you were in. Was your day stressful? Fun? Busy? etc.

Well anyways, I think the trees being big and full ... symbolizes hope to me. Specifically, I think its a hope about some life crossing that we all do - like getting married, having babies, career change, passing a test in school . . .
And the situation afterwards with having the opportunity to be promoted and feeling that you deserved it . . .

I appreciate everything my boss does, I actually look up to her and I know she has alot to do and I help her with as much as I possibly can, I was in a good moodset that day, we have had other people quit work and it is just her and I running an entire business right now... i love my boss who is also my friend and have nothing but respect for her and admire her in doing and knowing so much about her position.
