I recently posted a dream I just had about a man that I love but am far away from. ( see thread 'STRANGE AND CONFUSED'] I had a great interpretation from a member and am looking for some insight to the following.
This same man just recited his dream from last night to me, it went as follows: He said that him and I were purchasing a house, we were moving in together. It wasn't new or anything but we went to go over the paper work and sign the papers making it official and when returning to the house, he describes the front porch as being " all jacked up, in worse condition than we had initially thought." Please, what do you think that means? |

The dream seems to suggest that although, from his pont of view, the relationship between you has all the trappings of being sound, he seems to be worried about becoming too intimate possibly on a long-term basis. It a kind of cautionary dream.

Hi Sumbody,
At your request, I have reviewed this dream. Purchasing a house together is likely how he perceives the time, effort, and value you both have invested in creating the life together you hope to share. Often, houses describe the social structure, stability, and routine that we surround ourselves with for security and comfort sake. When he later describes the front of the house as more dilapidated, it suggests his opinion that the life he had hoped to share with you may not outwardly (frontal imagery of house) appear to be as privileged or appealing as he thought. The dilapidated condition suggests an unfavorable distinction between the life he has and the life he is about to enter. Your previous dream (killer whale and infidelity) described what concerned you about your companion's behavior; i.e., a concern about fidelity. His dream, however, appears to describes what may have influenced his behavior. I hope this help.
