Hi Mandy
The link between blood and cancer in your dream is what strikes me the most - they have both something to do with death to some extent. Have you recently been involved with a cancer, like taken a look at cancer statistics or read something regarding this topic in a newspaper, for instance? Do you know anyone whoīd recently contracted a cancer? Can you figure out any scene or event from the previous day thatīd involve cancer or the fear of dying? Perhaps an incident in your real life got your subconscious mind into a state where it started forming conceptions, then you may have seen this process as a dream. Anyway this is only my view, hope this helps a little

Waking dreams like this mean that you had to be woken up for some reason. My guess is that your neck or head was hurting due to sleeping in the same position for a long time. The phrase: "I looked down and saw a lot of blood" indicates that you actually moved your head. Seeing the blood and the idea of cancer are there in the dream to wake you up. It is a way the subconscious metaphorically slaps your face to wake you. I am sure you thought about or talked about breast cancer before the dream, and your subconscius uses your fear as a waking agent. However it is also possible that your nipples were tender and hurting. Cheers Wolfjk

I cannot see any connection with blood to cancer. The lump indicates a deep underlying fear of yours but what the dream seems to indicate is that you may have been influenced by someone close to you who has breast cancer and it may have shocked you and hence your concern and your subsequent dream. It is unlikely to be predictive; just an underlying worry. Regretfully, this is a constant worry to many women but so often unnecessary. Try to relax and enjoy this beautiful Scottish summer weather.

Okay, so there is no connection with reality but your dream probably does express an underlying concern. Do you have a tendency to see the darker side to life or possibly do you suffer from mild depression? There is usually a basis to dreams; they most often arise from some premise. If you cannot connect it to some cause then that is unusual. Do you per chance have worries about being sexually wounded, physically or emotionally?

Hi Mandy, if you canīt figure out any real-life situation thatīd have had something to do with the fear of contracting a cancer then the meaning of this dream is symbolic. You may have an inner fear concerning the link between life and death, which then got activated while your mind was in a sleeping state. Good luck

Dreams are not usually this difficult to interpret unless the dreamer is in denial. The only other grounds for this dream that I can detect is the 'death wish' in relation to some disappointment to your life. This is proving to be an interesting challenge.

I don't have a daughter, or any kids at all. I don't even want kids.
Right now in my life i am quite happy, i have just found my ideal job where i will be moving to the south of England on Friday to do something i have always wanted to do. I don't suffer from depression and no one in my family has had breast cancer. My mum died of cancer of another form when i was younger, but i have never even dreamt of her since then(also quite confusing).. Although i have been generally happy these days, it has been a bit stressful trying to sort out everything for moving. I am still not sure of this. I always try and keep healthy and fit. Maybe it is just about taking care of myself.... |
