Strange and Confused

There are only a hand full of dreams that have stayed with me, I had just posted the very disturbing 2 just today, but what prompted me to research dreams in the first place, was the one I had last night.

From what I recall I was wondering, the area felt familiar to me, but in reality the location is foreign to me, but the only way I can describe where I was, lets say a neighborhood, except the streets were deep deep water, and i recall seeing 2 killer whales (of all things) and i remember thinking, what is a killer whale doing so close to here?? though the water for streets appartenly was of the norm... then I remember crossing the street ( swiming the water ) when the whale almost ate me, I turned around facing the huge mouth opening, trying to block it with my hands, but made it to the curb! (remember this is average neighborhood) then I was met a beautiful woman, to me she was, and for some reason she was telling me about a man she met, which prompted me to call a friend ( male ) on the phone, and I was telling him about the whale and he seemed evasive, so out of nowhere I asked who was at his house? he told me yes she is there, instantly I was saddened, I knew she had sleep with him, I felt a n enormous sense of loss, I do as I recollect this dream at this moment.

It bothers me. Yes I do love this man, though I have never been with him, we probably never will, but his friendship has made me a better person, I have my own life as he does, no secrets, but what do whales signify??

Maybe someone can let me know their option. I'd appreciate it.

Funny enough, whales usually have to do with relationships in dreams. Relationships that are huge (emotionally speaking) and hard to handle. Starting from that i would say the rest of the dream pretty much falls into place. Almost swallowed by the whale=almost consumed by this relationship. A part of you may feel consumed by this relationship by some degree, either by the fact that you feel it cannot happen or by your love for him or both. Even more strange, a flood of any kind (which is what i would assume this was in your dream) is a representation of being swept away by your emotions. The beautiful woman could represent temptation and the fact that she is the one who makes love to him is perhaps to do with your feeling of loss of not being with him. I find it strange that you two are not together if you are so compatible. If republicans and democrates can marry and live happily you two could figure something out, but hey, i know nothing about this so that is only an outside view. Sometimes love is all you need in a relationship for it to work, even if he is away for months at a time, if the love is strong enough then the relationship will last. I can't help but think that deep down you know the same and this guilt and loss is coming thru in your dream(s). That is all i can interpret with this dream so far, it is hard to say without knowing more about the two of you, you see if i had had this dream it would have been about something completely different so that is what makes dream interpretation so hard.
