Cool Night of the Twisters

I have had many dreams about tornados, and great floods. I used to live by my paternal grandparents, and they lived on a hill overlooking a gas plant, and a river bottom. I have had many dreams of natural disasters occuring in, or around their house. One was like the movie "Night of the Twisters", where I saw countless tornados rip thru the gas plant, and river. I remember very low hanging, very dark grey clouds with funnels coming out everywhere. With the tornados came a great big flood. The flood never reached my grandparents house, but passed by it, because it was on a hill, out of the way. But we had to leave, and to get anywhere, we had to cross this flood. It went across the river, and thru a tunnel that was never there before. It was a big tunnel too. In another dream, a twister tore thru my grandparents house, but it always occured in a pattern, and I came to memorize the pattern. So, instead of evacuating the house, I just ran in circles, avoiding the twister. And in yet another dream, an earthquake broke a resevoir above my grandparents house, and my dad was up there at the time (at the resevoir). My grandma went to look for him, and my husband thought that all of them were going to get lost, or hurt, so he went after my dad and grandma. I remember worrying about them, but never seeing them after they left. I woke up before the dream played itself thru, so I don't know the outcome. I know water in dreams signifies emotion, and obviously, I've got a lot of emotion!

If one dreamt he was fighting a flood means he will fight an enemy.
If dreamt he came out of a flood means he will overcome the enemy.
Flood is a cold land means a sorrow but in a hot land means happiness.
If dreamt a flood entered a house or a place means there will be an opening in the affairs. The moon/11.
If dreamt somewhere was ruined by the flood means people will benefit from the governor.
Flood may also mean; 1- enmity 2- a cruel governor.3- a victorious army 4- a calamity and sedition.

If dreamt there was a hard wind means people will have fears.
If the wind was so hard and derooted the trees and ruined the houses means an epidemie in the city and a disaster.
Warm wind and cold wind mean illness but moderate wind means health.
If dreamt wind took him means will go to a travel and will have dignity.
If with the wind there was dust and darkness means fears and anxiety .
If hard wind took him to the sky there is a death a death danger.
If dreamt wind took him to the sky and was back again means he will be ill and will cure.
If there was a moderate west wind means blessings for the people.
If there was a moderate north wind means comfort and health for the people .
Wind sound in the dream means benefits from the government.
If dreamt wind took people and take them to the sky means will receive dignity from people.

One could look very deep in this dream and intepret all it's symbols but i'm going to take it at face value and say it's a dream (dreams) of your fear of loss, and loss to something you cannot control. Living with your grandparents growing up, you may have a great fear of losing them one day, and that is something you cannot control just like these natural occurences.
These type dreams will continue to re occur ( in my opinion) until the root problem is resolved. The root problem? that's for you to figure out, I would guess it would be to face the inevidable and understand it's part of life, just as tornados, earthquakes, etc. are.
good luck
hope this helped

Default Grandparents

I have always noticed that the natural disasters always happen around my grandparent's house. Since I've had those dreams, my grandpa died. And truth be known, I wasn't sad to see him die. I was never close to him, and he was always grumpy and mean. The last 5 years of his life were hard on him because of his health. I wonder if my grandma's emotions could have been "spilling over" onto me and other people in our family. My grandpa was never in my dreams. I have NEVER had a dream with him in it! I guess your mind just chooses to avoid unpleasant memories. I keep thinking back to his funeral, and feel bad because I couldn't cry for him. I felt heartless. I cried for my grandma, because I knew how much she would miss him. (She lived and breathed for him. She did EVERYTHING for him.)
In the dream with the big flood, I remember floating, kind of peacefully, thru the tunnel on blown up life rafts. They were orange, and there were a lot of them. I could also see the "light" at the end of the tunnel. It was just a vivid dream.
