I was in a car with people I know (although I can't recall exactly who they were) and we were stuck in traffic. I was sitting in the backseat and then we heard an ambulance. It was coming from the other direction of a major highway and everyone on that side quickly moved to make room for the ambulance, a little too quickly, though. One car just drove straight through our side of traffic into another back road, which left me extremely frightened because we were about 20 feet away. Shortly after another ambulance tried to make it's way through. That was all I remembered.

Hi,
Sometimes when you have a morning lie-in, you are more or less half awke and dreams come and go. If there is an outside noise your subconscious can incorporate it into your dream story line. It is possible you actually heard an ambulance siren, but if your dream story-line was about driving other noises from air conditioner, or domestic appliance could have been changed to sirens. Many sleeper's, including me, experienced the sound of an alarmclock turned into a telephone ring, answered the call and were two hours late for work!
