I had a really bizarre dream last night. Is this the result of a drunken delirium or could it mean more?

I was standing on the edge of a fairly sheer drop, but not so sheer that a wolf couldn't charge up it, into the ocean or a lake, or perhaps even a river, and all these white wolves were coming at me. Hundreds of them. Thousands even. They were coming up the cliff. And, I was using a flamethrower to burn them and fight them down. I know, a flamethrower? Sounds silly, but it's what my subconcious armed me with. So I'm standing near the edge of the cliff, my flame thrower spitting plumes of flame and hundreds of wolf bodies are falling down the side of the cliff into the water below. Charred bodies tumbling. The smell of burnt hair. The corpses of dead would somewhat slow the progress of their comrades, but no matter how many I killed they just kept coming. No progress was made for either side by the time I woke up: the wolves had not killed me yet I had not stopped their progress and they were still coming after me. I did not wake up in fear.


I live in California, but I'm a Southerner.

It depends on what you ate or drunk before the dream!
My experience is that dreams play an active part in sleep and they always do something, however sometimes dreams hint at the personality of the dreamer and what caused a certain dream to happen.
Your dream indicates that you eaten or drunk something that made a burning sensation in your stomach and chest. Infact you had to be roused from sleep by the wolves! My guess is that it was something you eaten that caused the dreams, however the fact that you were on high ground, looking down suggests some dizziness or vertigo. The smell of burning hair suggest you had a bad taste in your mouth!
Yes, it could be the result of a good night out!

I think it's more than the drunkeness. I was drinking quality ale, no bad taste, no hangover. I didn't feel dizzy or have a sense of vertigo when I was laying down to sleep, in fact I was well on my way down by the time my head hit the pillow. Also, I didn't awake early. I awoke right on schedule.

I have no servants, or anything that can be misconstrued as a servant by any leap in logic. I'm too poor to hire help and I'm not in a leadership position at work.

Also, that really long thing at the end has a lot of information that is unnecessary. Some helps, most does not.

This one would kinda make sense if you changed people to beasts, but even in that case, who would the enemy be? What do white wolves symbolize?

Your dream may be trying to tell you about a past or future relationship. Wolfs are very social and family oriented. The "fire" that you are fighting them off with could be that you are afraid of being burned in a relationship, and are trying to fight getting into another relationship or fighting to get out of one.
