Being ignored...

Hi, I'm new here...anyway, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this dream/ what it means.

Ok, I'm staying in this large old complex. It's like a series of old buildings (eg. old school) and the guy I like is living in one of them. The building he's in is off on it's own and slightly separated by a garden w/wall. Anyway in real life I know this person but I'm not sure if he's interested (because he may actually 'bat for the other team' *sigh*). So when I go past this house I want to go in and say hello and the screen door is always slightly ajar but I get the feeling I'm not wanted so don't. So there comes a point where there's this largish thin spider with a man's head knocking on the door of his place and demanding to be let in, repeating that this was HIS house previously and he wants it back.

The caretaker comes out with a broom and chases the spider away. Sensing an opportunity to a) Help the spider and b) Talk to the object of my desire - knowing full well he is a nice person and may be interested in sharing space with him, I go over to the spider and offer to speak to the guy living in there. The spider agrees, although I have to confirm if he doesn't mind a few times.

So I go into the old brown stones building and inside is quite...modern. It's been painted white with gray carpet. Very clean. There's a tiny spiral staircase going down to the dining room where he is. I'm wondering if I can even get through (for some reason this happens in my dreams alot, staircases or potholes that are WAY too small to get through). It's a tight fit but I think I manage and I see him there and...he kind of ignores me...and unfortunately that's where the dream ends. Also I've seen him a few times earlier during the course of the dream and he was kind of cold.

I have a feeling as there was one point in which I was ignored the other day by him that this may be a representation of that but as for the rest dealing with spiders...I'm competely confused.

A spider is a contradictory and ambivalent creature in dreams:

3) It can also mean good fortune. We talk of the Money Spider. So maybe good luck [possibly financial] is coming your way.

Colours: Grey: Devotion - you are looking for love and affection. And with the brown looking for commitment, and a long-term relationship that is meaningful and fulfilling. White: your intentions are pure and innocent. It can mean wisdom.

Even if he turns out to be gay, though, it is still no reason for him to ignore you or cold-shoulder you. But maybe he has issues that you aren't aware of, and he isn't willing to share or disclose. But be patient and careful. And don't do anything rash and impulsive, that you may later have cause to regret. And Beware the Web of Deceit!!

Carpet in another home means a travel on the way.
