I dont know where to start other than for the past two weeks I have had nightmares each night of traveling over turbulent oceans or lakes and rivers. Each nightmare is different and new so it's not the same reacurring dream but still each dream obtains the dangerous dark water. Dream #1: I am flying over a massive body of turbulent ocean water on a small 6' X 5' carpet about 100 feet in the air. I am hanging on for dear life and the turbulent air travel almost causes me to fall the hundred feet into the dark white capped ocean. The air is icy and turbulent, I barely hang on and I barely make it to land. Upon landing when I turn around to view the water, it is no longer rough water or as large. Dream #2: I find myself in the middle of a lake and have no choice but to travel through in the night on a 3' X 4' piece of plywood. I do see land very far away and I am paddling towards the land. I feel that the water is extremely deep but I want to know if I could see the bottom so I put my face in the water and open my eyes to actually see the bottom of the lake but I see dead bodies and so I try to swim out the dream ends there. Dream #3: I jump off of a cliff with parasols/umbrellas in hand trusting that they will carry me over the dangerous body of turbulant dark ocean. Luckily, my umbrellas do not collapse and the winds cooperate enough to help me travel over the waters but still I am in fear. I wake up before landing to safety. Dream #4: I am on a log traveling in disgusting dirty water trying to get to safety.
I am exhausted, disturbed, and scared to go to sleep. I dont eat food late at night in hopes to have a peaceful and inactive mind. I read pleasant fashion magazines or positive writing before falling asleep. My bedroom is clean and beautiful and safe. I do beleive that dreams send messages. I need your help and I am not afraid of any input no matter how harsh or scary. I just need to know so that I may take this bull by the horns and or prepare myself. I believe a message is trying to be communicated here. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help me. Sincerely...... TLB |

Hi,
Your first dream means you will have a travel soon in a month. And ocean means the president or governor that first is dangerous then will be calm. Good luck.

HOW TO INTERPRET A DREAM : Dreams come from the dream mind or unconscious. They are linked to how we process ideas and feelings. Dreams literally use symbols to capture our current state of mind. In practice its possible to guess the types of feelings a dream may link to. A soldier for instance may link to issues involving discipline as soldiers often have to endure strict rules and harsh conditions. So your mind is associating the soldier with some similar situation involving discipline within your own life. Try to work through the quotes provided and see which quote captures your feelings best. Eventually you maybe able to piece together a meaning. The quotes capture some of the symbolic meanings that the dream mind uses but of course not all all included. The dream mind may use symbols in personal ways. Try though to see which recnt thoughts that your dream represents. Jot down some quotes that captured your feelings towards yesterday. If you are preoccupied with something due to happen on the day to come then the dream may link to that.
THE DREAM SYMBOLS BEDS : "It involves my own future" "he made a very personal request to me" "its just one of my own personal habits" "I have been thinking about my own health" "I have been thinking about his habits and personality" "I really managed to identify with that story on the news" "I realised how sensitive and touchey that issue is" LAKES : "Well this decsion is right but I have a small EMOTIONAL DOUBT with it" "Well I know I have to make a practical choice in the circumstances" RIVERS : "I seem to have to put a lot of energy into this" "its a difficult relationship which involves much emotional energy" "I have had to think how to divert my energies" "I have started to turn my attention to this project" RIVER CROSSING : "I wish I did not have such a busy schedule. I need to find time" "I just want to get out of this mood" "Its been a difficult month but soon it should get better" SWIM : "I have been trying to change and make an effort" "I am going to put a lot of emotional thought into this" "I can sense a change in me emotionally" DEATH : "that was a very eerie feeling" "our relationship has been allowed to DIE" "there were some major changes yesterday" "that has ended. Now a new period has started" "I was thinking of all the things I CANNOT DO NOW" "he threateened to end the project" "I was thinking about my friends death" ------------------------ Dreams are fascinating but maybe its best not to delve too deeply into their meanings and seek advice. Try not to rely on them as dreams are notoriously difficult to interpret. Yet they do tend to concentrate on recent events and new feelings. You should be able to spot the formation of your own conceptual emotions(with some practice).Deeply hidden inside a dream is some conception perhaps to the previous day. Some slight change in your own thoughts (so concentrate on those changes and see if they maybe featured in the dream). The main fascination of dreams is how they link to the storage and formation of conceptual feelings. Conceptual feelings must be stored in the brain and perhaps the dreams that we have show how we store such ideas. Instead of using the word STRUGGLE the dream mind instead uses a situation involving a struggle. Instead of using the phrase "closer and closer" the dream mind instead uses the symbol of golf where the object is to get closer and closer to some eventual aim (to pot the ball). Instead of trying to interpret your dreams just go to your own conceptual feelings and then see what recent thoughts could feature in your reams. Say some argument or situation from the day before. Maybe your dream could link to some task or issue about to be faced on the actual day of the dream?
