Zombies in Dreams. WTF?

This happens to me about every 4 - 5 times in a month or so.
Its two different dreams, but the same type of subject [Zombies].
FIRST VERSE:

The first 2-3 times I appear to be in Miami florida somewhere in downtown by a Hotel. When suddenly out of no where people start getting infected slowly. No one seems to panic right away, theres no Police, no air forice, the government seems to be gone non exsistent. So I'm in this huge hotel with alot of people inside that are trying to run away from these slow walking,creepy zombies. The only thing is that they look like normal people except the color skin is gray with red eyes.

I always seem to manage to find a Car. But its no ordinary car, its a special kind of car. It's so fast and for some reason i go to drive on the highway at dangerous speeds. While the highway is PACKED of cars. they seem to get out of my way. Then cars start to flip over and explosions everywhere! By the way i can't control myself in this dream. I seem to be stuck in Third person view. So i continue to go fast on the highway and somehow end up back where i started. Except now the hotel gates are pulled down. everything is dead silent, and when everything seems so fine. The slow walking red eyes zombies start to come out. I get scared and run into the hotel building. running up the stairs. I finally get as high as i can get and i meet this certain someone. It's some girl that sounds familiar but i cant tell who she is by her face. Her face for some reason isn't vivid at all. So we cover the hallwall leading to this huge room with bed covers, yeah i know seriously bed covers?Then i look to my right and at the top right of the roof There's an attic. I try and open it but all i see when i take off the attic door is a small hole leading no where, small enough for a rat to survive and crawl away. So this is the part where i look back and they are starting to break through the bed sheets. I somehow always get to pick up a computer chair and swing it at the Zombies. But they somehow get to speak to me. I can hardly understand them it sounds like mumbleing but it really sounds like they dont actually want to eat me. Its that they have too cause their zombies and they have a taste for blood i guess. And pretty much after that everything vanishes i slowly start to wake up in my bed and wonder... Why am i having this dream?....



SECOND VERSE:1-2 times every month.

This one is really creepy to me. Its not as vivid and its even harder to remember. It's about zombies and such but now its not in a hotel. It's at my grandmothers complex. I'm at my bestfriends house which is right across the street standing in his back porch. When all of a sudden you hear people screaming. And things rappidly running everywhere. This time the zombies arn't slow. They are super strength and seem like they won the olympic's for the fasting running record in life. So now i'm scared.. like i've never been so scared in my life. So i jump the fence and once i jump over i hear my friends mom screaming and he tells me to run, to run as fast as i can and dont look back.
So i follow his advise and continue to do so. When i get to the street infront of his house. I look at the window and theres about 5-7 shadow figures behind the curtain just stareing at me but none of the figures opens the curtains. Right now i'm looking at the street and suddenly they start coming from the sides of the houses, behind fences and under cars. Then i see this beautiful white gate, its shinning with a dime light surrounding it. My only chance is to run and jump over it cause it leads to some kind of highway. I start to run as fast as my legs could. But once i reach the gate it grows 40feet into the air.. Basically traping me... it was a trick... now i turn around and the few people who are still alive run out of their houses and get murderd.. But when i mean murderd, i'm talking about they get ripped into pieces legs,arms,everything... At this moment my back is against the 40foot wall which is still dimming a white aura. I see hundreds of them now surrounding me. And then everything vanishes... I wake up in my bed sweating bullets...
I can't explain why i have these dreams.. its always in big open spaces.. and with alot of people, plus a main girl that i always meet in the first verse
How can i control this? How can i become the person in the dream and control my actions. Cause like i said i'm stuck in third person. I can see whats happening but i can't do what i please. My actions are already controled and premeditated. Someone please if you know how you can control this dream? stop it? or even teach me how to control my own actions. please let me know.
I'm not scared in my first verse. But really scared in the second.

Thanks for sharing. I posted a concern earlier with my dreams focused around raging "zombies." And like you, I find myself in large buildings with "survivors." I, however, never have any weapons. I'm always running, dodging, hiding, always a narrow escape. And it seems that the people are turning into zombies (the fast-sprinting-angry ones like 28 Days Later). When I recognize this change in folks, I take off!

I read that rage in other people in a dream indicates an unhappiness in your social life. In my case, I can see that to be true. I am always home with my two sons (12 years old and 13 months), and if I'm not home with them, I'm at work.... with them and other children. My fiance and I NEVER go out. He's usually right beside me dodging and ducking, hiding and surviving.

I guess I wish they were the slow moving zombies, that way I might stop waking up breathless. But really, I would like to stop altogether the dreams.

It's funny, cause in my first dream the zombies are slow walking pace.
But in my second verse of the dream, they are super human fast.
I could atleast say they are as fast as Cheetahs.
My social life recently has been kind of cut short. Which really is a funny thing that you said that. Cause i changed my group of friends the last bunch of them weren't any good for me.
I'm currently looking for new friends while going to college. I really don't know anyone in college due to me being a freshman. And i just recently got back with my first and only love.
We both don't really go out, but just spend time with each other.
At my house, going to the movies,the beach etc.
Im making new friends cause of her. Its her friends that im attaching myself too. I like them alot better none the less.
But it was a big social change. From Highschool party,drinking,smoking,etc.
To College, finding better friends, and settleing down.
To be honest i could really say this would have to do with my first verse of the dream. But the second verse is just horrible. I cant figure out why its so different from the first.. and why am i so scared? Why does it take me back to my childhood? my grandmothers complex? even having my current best friend in it, and his mother screaming, and him telling me to run , run and dont look back. its just too much..
The worst part is the White Gate that gives a white dimming aura all across it. Why did it trap me? it look about 7-8 feet tall and jumped into i would atleast have to say 40feet. It grew in a matter of seconds trapping me behind hundreds of man eating zombies...
i need some answers haha...

You know, Julian, UncleSirBobbyRobson (whew! that's a mouthful) has really good advice....

What long term changes are currently taking place in your life(new job? relationships? health changes? )"

I'm preparing for a new job. I start on the 7th of July. Its an office job and I haven't had an office job in almost 10 years. I've been an artist and a music teacher working from home or in a theater. I've been able to take my kids everywhere with me and if I'm late, well, its usually OK. My wardrobe has been chucks, tanks, cargo pants, etc... now I'm looking at heels and suits.

In fact, as I look closer at my dream, I think I can see what's going on in my life unfolding. I feel like I never get a chance to just sit and chill. Plus, one of the interpretations I read about zombies was saying people talking behind your back and I think there's some of that going on my life. Some family members that are unhappy with the way I am changing my life. They see it as being mean for cutting them back but really I just want to distance myself, not be so "co-dependent," as my aunt would say, and take care of my family. They're used to me being the girl that makes everyone laugh - even at my own expense. Well, I don't give folks the opportunity to make fun of me and the mistakes I make because I don't share those details.

So what does that white gate say to you? It sounds like you feel trapped. Perhaps, you do make your way to making new friends but somehow get drawn to the old ones you're trying to leave behind. I don't know what to say about your grandmother and the other pieces but I'm sure you things will come into focus - Hopefully.
