dream about my grandaddy

When I was pregnant with my daughter, who is now 5 months old, I was always wishing my family that I have already lost could meet her. I had a dream that I walked into my grandmothers house and my grandaddy was sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee out of his usual cup in his usual seat and I was shocked because I knew he was dead. In the dream they said he had been in a coma instead of dead and now he was back and he was ok. He was so happy about the baby and about catching up on stuff he had missed in the past 6 years. I was so excited that I called my mom and my granny and told them that grandaddy was ok. My granny is now deceased too. When I woke up I actually thought he was alive and whenI realized it was just a dream I cried because it felt like I had just lost him all over again. I was wondering if maybe this dream had any sort of special meaning?
