I Dreamnt of holding someone's head!!!

Hi there,

a couple of nights ago, i had the weirdest dream, well i have the weirdest dreams everynight anyways! but yea... i can't remember much of it! just that i was walking around holding someone's head which was cut off!!! i don't know who's head it was, but it just seemed normal to me, carrying this head around. We were friends *strange* but it would talk to me.

i have read up on the net about what this dream could mean but i couldn't find anything satisfying.

There is nothing strange about your dream! We all have volent and bizarre dreams in deep sleep. At a very low level of consciousness the dreams have to be more violent and extreme to gradually raise the level of consciousness to the stage where the brain can grasp it. As the level of consciousness rises, dreams become less violent and more logical, although they still have to contain elements that grab your attention. Usually the first elements remembered in dreams are lights and colours, joined by a story line.
However on occasions the sleeper is able to tag onto the tail-end of a violent dream but usually it is a fleeting image that is soon forgotten. My guess is that the dream picture of Anna Boleina's "head tucked underneath your arm" ( from a song) is a snatch of one of those dreams that should have been forgotten. It was dreamt solely to bring you back from oblivion.
