No matter where I am in my dream inevitably I lose track of where I parked my car. This doesn't happen to me when awake so I would presume that my subconcious is trying to tell me something. Any one have any ideas or thoughts on this or perhaps similar experiences?

sounds comical! It might be that you're missing something else? Continuously forgetting something important- maybe not your car but a cell phone? A birthday? A special occasion? If you have trouble remembering something ELSE in your life that is as important as your car, it's possible your subconscious is trying to tell you "How awful would it be to forget where you parked your car? Then why do you forget [whatever it may be]?"

Maybe it's your mind trying to nudge you to remember something you've forgotten...maybe you just feel lost about a certain situation and then dream about losing something and wandering looking for it. Is there anything in your life that's making you feel confused or lost?

At present your car may be one of your favourit possessions. You think a lot about your car and your subconscious mind uses the fear of loosing it to nudge you towards waking. You will probably have noticed that the dreams occur near morning, or during a nap. They are waking dreams. Cheers Wolfjk

I have had those dreams. In my case I believe the car represented freedom. I lost my self, my freedom to someone/something else's control.
