unsettling dream

Last night I dreamed I was in an underground cavern. I was bitten by a very poisonous, exotic snake. My hand, arm and face was swelling, and I knew I was going to die. Suddenly, someone helped me from the cavern, and gave me a shot of antivenom. The antivenom immediately stopped the effects of the snake bite. A friend of mine was sitting in the same room, and she looked depressed. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me she was pregnant. I thought this should be a good thing for her and her husband, but she seemed depressed.
This dream has been with me all day. Any input would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Being underground and in a cavern means a sorrow is on the way.
A snake is a symbol for a jealous person if bit means he/she will cause a monetary loss.
But swollen body parts is a symbol for receiving a good deal of money, As a proverb say:
The enemy will cause a benefit when God wants so..
Pregnancy is a symbol for receiving some money as much as her belly was big, she will receive a good deal of money.

Dear sir: Being bitten by a snake would most logically be a negative experience, what is intersting is that its an exotic snake, in other words an item that would command attention, both for its beauty and its danger. Altho the bite may be a monetary loss, it could also mean being falsely accused of an act or situation. You were rescued from that situation. The conception of knowing you were going to die could very well mean being frightened of the situation you found yourself in, but another person came along and stood up for you. Often times we fail to appreciate those who stand up for us in life. As for the pregnant girl friend in depression. Depression is a natural process of the ebb and flow of life, and its quite normal to have depressing moments at any time there is a drain on the physical body. My wild guess on this one is that you are with a pregnant girlfriend when you are falsely accused of an act and the girl was witness to the process. Other than being a witness there doesn't seem to be any other interaction between you and the girl in the dream. Thanks for listening: Bob Bennett
