Understanding feelings of love from dreams?

I have had many dreams about a guy I am friends with. I have feelings for him and I am fairly sure he feels the same way about me but we both are dating other people right now.

In one dream we were laying down on the grass next to each other. He told me he had something to tell and when I asked him what it was he said he couldn't tell me. I tried to convince him to tell me and I leaned in close to him and put my ear next to his mouth but he could not manage to say what he wanted to. Then finally he blurted out that he loved me and I told him that I loved him too. Then we hugged each other for a long time. I squeezed him as hard as I could to make sure he was really there. When I woke up I realized that the events that happened were not real and it was just in my dream.

In another dream, I was with my boyfriend on my bed in my room. When he got up to go to the bathroom I kissed my guy friend on the mouth before my boyfriend got back. The next time my boyfriend left the room my guy friend kissed me on the mouth.

I have had at least a dozen dreams about this guy over the past couple of months. I have been thinking about him a lot even though I have a boyfriend. What do these dreams mean? Why do I keep having so many dreams about him? What are my dreams trying to tell me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
