I Wished to Join a Party

This dream took place late at night/early morning hours. I was upstairs in my parents' house in my old bedroom that I used as a boy. There was a big party going on outside with music, dancing and people drinking beer. Also, I could see many cars parked along side the road where they live. I was looking outside through the windows and wishing that I could join them. Both of my sisters were there with me and when I expressed my wish to join the party they told me to lay down and rest. I did and rewakened and noticed that the party goers in front of the house were gone, but another party in back of the house was just beginning. Again, I expressed my wish to join the party goers and my sisters told me that I needed to lay down and rest.
Any help or interpretations are always welcomed.
