I woke up the other night with the feeling I had dreamt something extremely important. I remembered the dream clearly when I woke up, but since it was in the middle of the night I soon fell back to sleep, and when I woke up again I didn't remember all the details anymore. But I remember the main points.
My little brother, a friend of mine and I are travelling in some unknown place. Suddenly we find ourselves in some sort of karate dojo. It was very big, and instead of a normal floor there was very fresh, green grass gowing. There were (at least) two other people there, which were karate masters. One of them wore a white karate suit, with a black belt, the other one had a red suit which he wore more loosely, also with a black belt. The "white master" seemed older, wiser and stronger than the "red master." The "red master" seemed a bit more eccentric and unpredictable, and I got the impression he was French. My little brother has a black belt in karate, and was naturally interested in what the masters had to say. So he went and talked to them, and showed them some katas (patterns of moves in karate) and they soon began some sort of analysis of him. It was the white master who spoke, and he seemed to think something was gravely wrong with my little brother, and he said "You are torn in half - you have a good side, and a bad side. And the bad side is...!!" At this point my brother was clearly very frightened, and I sensed he was about to panic. I approached the masters so I could hear better what they were saying, feeling very concerned about my little brother. But the red master interrupted the white master's speaking, and said "hush, you're saying too much, you're scaring him, this is no good." I then told them that I had practiced some taiji (chinese martial arts) and they were very interested in that and asked me to show them what I could do. When I tried to show them I found that I had a really hard time keeping my balance, and suddenly, in the midst of my moves, I discovered that it wasn't a taiji form I was doing, but a karate kata, and I was embarassed by this. Then I woke up, still feeling very concerned about my little brother. What can this dream mean? |

Hi,
Usually when one learns a kind of science perfectly or about it , it is time to dream about it.For example when you study a foreign language when it is perfected he dreams about it. Good luck.

I used to practice karate about 10 years ago, and about a year ago I practiced taiji a couple of times with some dudes, but I would hardly say I have perfected any of them. I don't think the dream was about my martial arts skills. The dream was permeated by feelings of anxiety for my little brother, and when I woke up I had a really bad feeling that something was wrong with him. Nothing was wrong with him though, when I spoke to him a couple of days later (I didn't mention the dream though).
